(2/14/2012, Los Alamitos)  Katella rush hour shot from the roof of Dedola Global Logistics and set to set to Vivaldi’s Four Seasons: Winter.

A Valentine’s gift to you, courtesy of Eric Jochim of Dedola Global Logistics, an international freight forwarder headquartered in Los Alamitos.   The video was actually shot on January 31 of this year.

Eric submitted the link using the  ”contact us” button that is in the masthead at the top of each page on this site.  We encourage you to do the same–it’s one more way of making LetsFixLosAl “our website,” rather than mine.

  1. Art DeBolt says:

    Wow!

Lose one lane going West on Katella and it is gridlock.

Lose one lane going North on Los Al Blvd. at Katella and it backs up to Orangewood.

    At least it is temporary.

We can now see what will happen when we lose one lane permanently between Katella and Cerritos if we “Revitalize” Edgar style.

  2. Joker says:

Who hired this contractor? They should be working at night when there is far less traffic. They also need to open the lanes up when they are done for the day, leaving barracades, open trench signage, and deliniators. This is unacceptable for a major arterial.

  3. JM Ivler says:

Want to see traffic. Try Thursday at 5PM. It should be backed up all the way to Enterprise (that’s where it was last Thursday).

  4. Joker says:

I was getting off of the freeway the other evening and traffic was backed up all the way around the off ramp and onto the freeway. It was about 20 minutes of fun just trying to get to Los Alamitos Blvd.
